Ok it’s official, wardrobes, purses and bedroom floors of Britain (YES, because that is where everything always ends up, having a ‘fashion floor party’). We are facing a serious Nordic invasion! And I’m not just talking gladrags…shoes, make-up…I bet you a million dollaz even most of our wardrobes are now Ikea-born, no??
Following my latest babble about Scandinavian shopping sensation, Nelly.com, I’m now typing about a cosmetic brand from Denmark…
GOSH, available in Superdrug stores nationwide, is kind on the pennies, pretty on the peepers and using that typically cool Danish method, extracts the fun from the catwalk and places the FUNK into functional.
The aesthetics of GOSH are clean, sharp and like that of tools or equipment. There is no fluffiness in the naming either – just instruction. My ultimate purse pick-me-up is the ‘Click ‘n’ Conceal’ Eye Brightener, £6.99.

GOSH 'Click 'n' Conceal' £6.99
Simple, to the point and smart-looking it comes in 01 Light, 02 Medium, 03 Dark and 04 Anti-Redness (green, to neutralise the raspberry look)!
To activate, just click, click, click, in office pen-poppin stylie and brush on the illuminating formula to hide dark circles and wrinkles. OR, if you want to highlight certain areas of the face e.g. the area around your stunning ‘scouse brows’, cheekbones or lip contour – then this multi-purpose pen can be used for that, too!
It’s actually quite moisturising so it won’t feel heavy, sticky etc. I use it on top of my foundation because I’m normally topping up on my luncheon but it can be used beneath too…
The other item I really like is the Intense Eyeliner pen in Black, £6.49, because unlike other felt liners I’ve tried, it actually comes out really thin and carbon black! It has a super skinny tip which allows better precision than most and does not feather.

GOSH 'Intense Eyeliner Pen' £6.49
GOSH Intense Eyeliner Pen, also comes in some really lovely metallic shades – 02 Grey, 03 Brown, 04 Dark Green, 05 Purple and 06 Blue – the range of colours means that if you wanted to, whilst it’s still slightly wet, you could blend it with a shadow, (GOSH do a few Smoky Eyes Palettes, I like ‘o3 Plum’, the best), and ensure that those intensely pigmented dark outer corners – which we all know with powders, have a habit of fading throughout the day, last and enhance from am to pm.
GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation was the first one I ever used and it’s funny that 10 years later I’ve come back to the brand! Like I say, it just works…
